Terms and Conditions for Registration

1. Acceptance of Terms

By registering on the DCB platform, you (the “Company”) agree to these Terms and Conditions. These Terms govern the use of our services and must be accepted in full before registration is completed.

Only authorized representatives of the Company may initiate the registration process. User accounts must use email addresses associated with the Company’s official domain. The Company is responsible for notifying DCB of any changes to its information, including authorized users.

4. Data Usage and Privacy

By registering, the Company agrees to the collection, storage, and processing of its information in accordance with DCB’s Privacy Policy. The Company consents to its data being used solely for purposes outlined in the service agreement and for compliance with applicable laws.

5. Platform Access

Access to the DCB platform is granted solely for the Company’s use and must comply with all applicable laws and regulations. Unauthorized access will result in account suspension.

6. Use of Services

The Company acknowledges that certain services may require additional approval or consent (e.g., debt review reports). Batch tracing functionality is restricted to DCB administrators and cannot be performed by the Company or its agents.

7. Compliance with Legal and Regulatory Standards

The Company agrees to adhere to all applicable laws and regulations, including but not limited to the National Credit Act (NCA) and the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPI).

8. Account Termination

DCB reserves the right to suspend or terminate the Company’s account for violations of these Terms and Conditions, submission of false or fraudulent information, or any actions compromising the platform's security.

9. Limitation of Liability

DCB is not liable for any loss or damage resulting from unauthorized access to the Company’s account or platform downtime, provided such access was not due to DCB’s negligence.

10. Intellectual Property

All intellectual property on the platform, including but not limited to designs, trademarks, and software, is owned by DCB. The Company may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer any part of the platform.

11. Amendments to Terms

DCB reserves the right to update or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of South Africa. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved in South African courts.
